Correcting the Myths About Heaven
by: Dr. Larry Ollison

For generations, people have formed their ideas about Heaven from movies, folklore, and sentimental artwork rather than Scripture. As a result, many believers carry misconceptions that rob them of the joy, anticipation, and confidence God intended us to have about our eternal home. The Bible paints a vivid, exciting, and deeply purposeful picture of Heaven—one that corrects the myths and reveals the truth about our future with God.
Myth #1: Heaven is boring—endless singing

Power in Unity

I have been thinking a lot about unity since I recently attended a 3BI (Billye Brim Bible Institute) class entitled Outpourings, Revivals, and Awakenings. It was an excellent class, and I would highly recommend taking it online when it becomes available.
In every move of God, there was repentance and prayer. One of the men we studied in depth was George Whitefield. He united the colonies during the 1700s, and he is responsible for the phrase “One Nation Under God.”

Echoing Heaven
by: April Rowden

By faith, the earth echoes what has already been established in heaven.
An example of this is found in Matthew 8:16–17: “When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.’”
Wait—what!? I thought it was by the blood of Jesus at the cross that He took o

Jesus Prepares the Disciples for Melchizedek Service
The Scriptures tell us that when the disciples were with Jesus, He was the one doing most of the teaching and performing most of the miracles. The disciples were present, learning, observing, and participating, but they were not yet operating at the level of doing greater things like Jesus did. Not until after Jesus’ resurrection and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost did they begin doing the “greate

What Makes Christianity Different?
by: Dr. Larry Ollison

Through the years, people have asked me, “What is the real difference between what Christians preach and what every other religion in the world teaches?” It’s a fair question. After all, the world is full of belief systems—Mohammed, Buddha, Hare Krishna, Hinduism, and countless others. But there is one distinction so profound, so unmatched, that it separates Christianity from every other faith on earth.
Here it is in one simple statement: Every other god requires that you s

Messiah is Melchizedek
Jesus is standing surrounded by the leading religious authorities of His day—the Pharisees. Among them is a lawyer, a man highly skilled and deeply versed in the Law. In front of everyone, this lawyer sets the stage like a court case. He poses a question to Jesus, and Jesus answers correctly. There is no rebuttal, no denial, no correction from any of them. His answer is perfect.
Then Jesus turns the tables. In this public courtroom moment, He fires bac

King of Righteousness
We know that not long after Jesus’ birth, the Magi—wise men from the East—arrived in Jerusalem and declared: “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and we have come to worship Him” (Matthew 2:2).
Jesus was a true descendant of King David, born from the royal line of Judah. Everyone in Israel knew that He was of kingship linage. But more than that, His title ‘King of the Jews’ was publicly confirmed before

John—The Only True High Priest in His Day
The role of the High Priest was the greatest servant role in all of Israel. He was the one who stood between God and the people of Israel. The High Priest’s servant role determined the weight of the sins of Israel and whether God forgave them. Everything hung on his ability to perform his duties properly before God on the Day of Atonement. The weight of Israel’s sin rested on his shoulders. He was, in every sense, the greatest serva

Introduction
Have you ever read a passage of Scripture and wondered, “Why did God put this in His Word, and what does it mean?” You know it must have some importance—every word of God does—yet the meaning isn’t immediately clear. The Bible was written by prophets and saints inspired by the Holy Spirit, and God has preserved His Word for every generation. Still, there are moments when we read something and realize we don’t fully understand what God is trying to show us. The

Grace vs. Faith: Why the Church Needs Both
by: Dr. Larry Ollison

For nearly a century, the body of Christ has watched various “movements” rise and fall—each one bringing fresh revelation, yet often creating unnecessary division. In the 1940s and 50s, the great healing crusades swept across America. Soon after came the faith movement, followed by a movement with a strong emphasis on grace. Then the charismatic renewal emerged with a focus on the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Each shift brought new insight, but also a subtle danger

God's Wisdom Outweighs Your Wallet

Ecclesiastes 7:10–12 (NKJV) Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. Wisdom is good with an inheritance, And profitable to those who see the sun. For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, But the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it. Sometimes we catch ourselves saying, “Things were so much better back in the day.” But Ecclesiastes reminds us—don’t long for the good old

End Times Explained

The Rapture, the Tribulation, and the Second Coming
For generations, believers have sensed that we are living in prophetic days. The signs are increasing, the world is shaking, and questions about the end times are rising. Yet God is not the author of confusion. His Word reveals a clear and ordered timeline. When we understand what Scripture actually teaches, fear leaves and faith rises. One of the greatest sources of confusion in the Church today is mixing up the Rapture a

The Fear of the Lord

In 2025 I wrote my dissertation on “Fear” and received my doctorate degree. My hypothesis was: Does the Bible really say “Fear Not” 365 times—one time for every day of the year?
I found out there are many words, especially in Hebrew, that mean fear. My conclusion was yes—there are at least 365 instances of God telling His people not to fear, and even more when you consider the variations.
Noah Webster’s 1828 dictionary defines fear as “a painful emotion or passion excited

Stop Fishing in That Pond

I can't say that I know a single person who has never done something they were remorsefully ashamed of at some point in their life, regardless of whether they've been saved or not. Do you think it's safe to guess that 99% of people would admit they've done something they're ashamed of — and that the other 1% is lying through their teeth?
The Word not only tells us, but reminds us that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

The Power of Your Spoken Words
by: Pastor Ryan Hogeland

One of the greatest stewardship responsibilities God has given us is the stewardship of our words. Most people think of words as nothing more than vocabulary—letters arranged into sounds, sounds arranged into sentences. But Scripture teaches something far deeper. Words are not merely literary. Words are containers. They carry spiritual substance.
Every time we speak, we are filling our words with something. Just like a cup can hold water, coffee, or poison, a word can hold
